PARENTS it was a TRUE privilege to spend the week with such kind creative
out of the box thinkers. They were committed problem solvers seeing their way thru to beautiful works of art. There were giggles and stories shared thru out the week; friendships formed and sisterhood memory maker moments.
We worked in many mediums and various styles - abstract to observation
2d to 3d, from a live model (Oreo the Bunny was a fan favorite) to imagination and memory as Jan shared stories from childhood adventures with her best friend. We centered each day with yoga.
On friday we turned our art studio into an art gallery and the girls put their "curator hats" on and worked together to create a lovely gallery experience to highlight their artistic endeavors!
Artistic expression shares a glimpse into the hearts and minds of the artist. It is personal and joyful and creates confidence and an authentic voice. THANK you parents for giving your kids such a gift!
